Nopal Juice

The Nopal cactus or prickly pear, grows primarily in desert regions, but notably well in the Sonoran Desert of Northern Mexico and in the southwestern states of the US. We became acquainted with nopal leaves as a food source years ago when our Mexican cook would prepare “nopalitos” and serve them with eggs as a breakfast treat for us. They were delicious! We didn’t realize then how nutritional the nopalitos were, however.

Dr. Tim has researched the nopal plant in great detail and has formulated a new, Sonoran Nopal Exotic Juice that is unique as a source of beneficial antioxidants called betalains. Betalains are naturally found in pinkish-red fruits and vegetables such as beets, some varieties of swiss chard and in Nopal. The antioxidants in betalains attack free radical molecules within human cells and diffuse them before they damage other healthy cells. Free radical damage speeds the aging process. Nopal juice has anti-aging as well as detoxifying properties.

In addition, Nopal is an excellent anti-inflammatory aid. It inhibits white blood cell migration, a catalyst in the development of inflammatory diseases. Many diseases are a form of inflammation.

Nopal Juice is also helpful in the fight against bad cholesterol, LDL, by decreasing sugar absorption in the intestinal tract.

One of the highly researched benefits of Nopal Juice is its ability to decrease blood sugar (glucose) values – a real benefit to people with Type 2 diabetes.

Sonoran Nopal Juice is an excellent asset to those a searching for a healthy, natural way to feel better and enjoy the benefits derived from the juice. It is, however, recommended that you consult with your physician prior to making major changes in your diet.
