Island Trend’s Natural Skin-Care Aids

I first learned about Tamanu Oil 20 nearly years ago, when I complained to my son about my incurable skin problem. I had rosacea at the time with all the usual symptoms – red nose and cheeks, painful postules and facial swelling. I had tried every expensive remedy prescribed by my dermatologist, but nothing helped, and my problem just got worse.

My son has lived in Polynesia for years and is versant in Polynesian natural remedies. He recommended that I try out a small bottle of Tamanu Oil, an oil he said that has been known for centuries throughout Polynesia as a treasured skin-care aid. I was desperate for some kind of relief, so I tried it for a week, massaging just a few drops into my face each evening.

It was less than a week later when I noticed a distinct change in my face– no more red nose or cheeks and the postules dried up and went away. I was astounded, but very pleased. It seemed incredible, but my feeling was that if the product actually worked, I did not care if was a natural skin-care aid, just that it worked for me. I also soon learned that I had to continue using the oil once a month, if not the rosacea came back. Now I use it once a week and my face looks great.

People cannot believe that I am as old as I am as they don’t see as many wrinkles that should really be there. Most guess I look 15 years younger.

I also learned that Tamanu Oil has many other skin-care benefits. It is great for burns, including sunburn, small garden wounds, insect bites, rashes, sores, healthy scar formation and even muscle pain, but best of all, it is a super skin moisturizer. A few drops massaged into your skin after bathing before retiring, smooths and softens your skin in an amazing way.

I was so excited about the Oil, I told dermatologists about it and was surprised at their response. They simply said that there is no natural substance that will make skin problems
go away and that I should stop using them and try another prescription. There was no way they could convince me to go the prescription route again. Will Tamanu Oil work for you?
Everyone is different and so is their skin, but a trial use may help you see improvements. Do not use it if you allergic to nuts.

I was so impressed with Tamanu Oil that I began making and selling a transparent, natural glycerin Tamanu Oil Soap, then a Lotion and a lip Moisturizer, then a Dry Skin Butter all containing the magical Tamanu Oil.

We also make Noni/Acai Soap. Everyone who uses the products raves about them and tell me how much they have benefited from their daily use. Repeat buyers are 50% of all buyers.
